Forks Supervisors Announce Bid for Re-election
Democrats C. David Howell and Lilly Gioia hope to retain seats
Forks Township Supervisors C. David Howell and Lilly Gioia have announced their run for re-election.
Running on the campaign slogan “Community First,” the Democrats Howell and Gioia are vying for six-year and four-year terms, respectively, in the upcoming May primary.
“Growing Forks' business and tax base while keeping Forks the safe, friendly, very desirable hometown it is means putting 'Community First,'” Gioia said in a recent press release, “and that’s what we’ll do if given the privilege and honor of continuing to serve our neighbors.”

Gioia has served one year on the board, filling the vacated seat of Michele Rogers. She is currently board vice-chairwoman and serves on the public safety and public works committees. Gioia is also a past president of the Lehigh Valley Business and Professional Women’s organization.
Howell, meanwhile, said in a press release, “Replacing an antiquated post-World War II Public Works garage and greatly expanding Forks recreational opportunities for residents of all ages have been high priorities.”
