Forks Supervisors Bid Farewell Three Times
Forks Township officials C. David Howell and Lily Gioia, along with Township Manager Rick Schnaedter, attended their last supervisors meeting Thursday night.

In their last meeting of the year, bid farewell to the township manager, as well as two supervisors, and .
All three were given desk clocks to commemorate their service.
Schnaedter took a new job as township in Bucks County. He gave notice to the township in November.

All the supervisors thanked him for his work from 2007 through this year and presented him with a desk clock as a parting gift.
The vacancy will be advertised in early January with a deadline for application set for January 27.

According to a press release issued Thursday night, “the Supervisors are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to serve as the township manager. The person will coordinate the day-to-day activities of the township and provide recommendations to the supervisors, among other assigned responsibilities.”
Supervisor Erik Chuss said, supervisors will consider all applicants regardless of educational background and will set the salary based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Schnaedter was earning about $85,000 a year.
Supervisors Howell and Gioia did not win re-election bids in the May primaries.
Howell had perfect attendance as a supervisor from 2005 to 2011. Gioia filled a vacant seat on the board for a year.
Both democrats, their seats will be filled by one Republican – – and one Democrat – . They join the board Jan. 3 at the reorganization meeting.
