Good Friday: What's Open, What's Closed in Palmer/Forks

Good Friday is one of the most religious holidays of the year. But it's not a holiday for everyone in terms of what's open and closed in Forks and Palmer Townships.

Here is what's closed on Good Friday:

• Palmer Township municipal offices  
• Forks Township municipal offices
• Easton Area School District is off for spring break.
• Northampton County Courthouse
• District Judge Jacqueline Taschner's office.
• Giant Food Store locations in Forks and Palmer will be closed on Easter Sunday.
• Palmer branch of Easton Public Library

Here is what's open:

• Palmer Park Mall
• Pennsylvania state liquor stores
• PennDOT driver's license and photo centers (Driver and vehicle online services are available. www.dmv.state.pa.us) 
• Federal offices 
• Post offices (Mail will be delivered)
• Most retail and entertainment establishments
• Most banks
