Last Chance: First Day of Trout Season
Saturday, March 31, is the first day of trout season; Bushkill Creek and other fishing holes will be stocked.
There's only one opening day to trout season. This year it is on Saturday, March 31 at 8 a.m. The fish commission stocks local streams and creeks, including Bushkill Creek, so there should be lots biting on opening day.

If the trout is less than 7 inches, then you have to throw it back. In addition to a fishing license, trout anglers 16 and older must posses a Trout/Salmon Stamp. Get your gear and grab the kids and you'll have a fish fry for dinner Saturday.
