Locals Walk in Memory of David Heard

A local family from the Palmer and Forks townships area pulled together the largest group for this weekend's Pediatric Cancer Foundation of Lehigh Valley, Inc. walk in memory of Easton Area Middle School student .

As of Sunday, the Haldman Family raised $17,446 in memory of 10-year-old Heard, who died from neuroblastoma on February 10*. The funds will will help send families to Camp Sunshine in Maine*, a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
