Missing 16-year-old Girl Found

Sixteen-year-old Alanah Ross, who had been reported missing, has been found.

The 16-year-old Richland Township girl, who had been missing since May 5, has been found safe.

Police had suspected Alanah Ross’ boyfriend in her disappearance after she was last seen at the Quakertown Relay for Life. Law enforcement also asked area media outlets to post information about the situation.

Early this morning, without divulging details, Ross’ family posted a message on Facebook stating the girl has been found.

After an extremely difficult night i have very good news to report . After 10 long, frightening days, Alanah has been found. You will all never know how much your outpouring of love and concern has meant to our family, there is no situation that i can think of that is more difficult than not knowing where your child is or if they are safe.

Alanah is thankfully safe and we are so glad she has been found. The situation is still difficult and more involved than i can go into. PLEASE just know that we felt all the love and support that friends, family and many of you that we didn't even know have sent our way, words cannot express our gratitude for eveyone's part in finding Alanah.
