Palmer Yard Waste Center Open for Fallen Tree Limbs

The storm broke lots of tree limbs and Palmer Township's yard waste facility will take them for free.

Palmer residents can now dump their tree limbs and other storm debris at the township’s yard waste facility today and tomorrow for free.

The center on Berks Street (off Freemansburg Avenue across for Suburban EMS) will is open today and Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The township has also waived its usual dumping fees for those days, according to the township’s website.

Yard waste will be picked up at the on normal pickup days.

Pickups are limited to 3 ft. x 3 ft. x 2 ft. Non-bundled waste must be in brown paper bags.

The Regular Fee for Using the Facility:

  • Car trunk full - $5
  • Pickup or small utility trailer - $10
  • Stake body truck - $30
  • Small dump truck (up to Class 4 window sticker) - $50
  • No large dump trucks allowed.
