Palmer Man Steals Neighbor's Cement Mixer, Wood Burner, Police Say
Police charge Joseph Cannon with break-in on Farmersville Road last year.

Palmer police have arrested a township man for allegedly stealing two pricey appliances from his neighbor last year.
Joseph Cannon, 44, was charged Wednesday with felony burglary, criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief.
According to court records, the investigation began Sept. 20 of last year, when Farmersville Road resident Michael Weaver reported that someone had broken into his shed and taken a cement mixer, valued at $600, and a $1,500Â wood stove.Â
Police followed a trail of wood pellets across the street to Cannon's home. Cannon allegedly told the investigating officer that the pellets were from his wife taking out the trash.
When he heard about the break-in, Cannon allegedly told police, "Weaver's had it coming."
In March of this year, police heard from one of Weaver's sons. He told investigators Cannon had allegedly admitted to taking the items from the shed, but said that another of Weaver's sons had given him permission.
Cannon was arraigned before District Judge Jackie Taschner and was free on bail.
