Palmer Township is sprucing up around town.
Palmer Beautification Project is a volunteer group whose plan is to clean up various passive recreational spots throughout the township.
The idea is the brainchild of resident David Carr. Earlier this month, Carr was given the go ahead from the township Board of Supervisors to start the project. Carr is already known around town for keeping the southern section of the township bicycle path clean.

The project, among other things, will clean the northern side of the bicycle path, identify other areas throughout town that need sprucing up, and remove debris.
Volunteers are being sought and plans to prioritize an improvement list for 2012 will be compiled.
