Stolen Socks Lead to Felony Charge, Police Say
Easton resident Carlton Walker accused of stealing from Marshalls.

An Easton man is facing felony theft charges for stealing socks from a Palmer Township store, thanks to his criminal record.
Carlton Walker, 49, was charged Thursday with retail theft.
According to township police, Walker was spotted at the Marshall's store on 25th Street sticking socks into the sleeve of his sweatshirt.
After being taken into custody, police learned Walker had two past retail theft convictions.Â
He was arraigned before on-duty District Judge Richard Yetter in Wilson, and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
