Weekly Road Work and Closure List

Here’s your weekly road work and closures list for Palmer and Forks townships:

In Forks Township, crack sealing work will be done from 9am to 2pm Wednesday along Sullivan Trail between Bushkill Drive and PA 191. Lane restrictions with flagging is expected to cause delays.

In Palmer Township, drainage work will be done on PA 33 South between PA 191 and PA 248 from 9am to 2pm Wednesday. Lane restrictions will be in place as PennDOT workers will be out.

Drivers who take Interstate 78 should also expect several delays starting Monday.

Shoulder work and widening will be done between exit 67 (PA 412) and the Lehigh County line from 9am to 2pm. Lane restrictions will be in place as PennDOT workers will be out.

Also starting Monday on Interstate 78, sweeping will be done between 12am and 6am all week long from exit 75 to PA 611 and the Lehigh County line. Lane restrictions could be in place on either I-78 east or west while work is being done.

On Tuesday along Interstate 78, lane restrictions will be in place from the Lehigh County line to exit 67 (PA 412) for shoulder work and widening. Work will be done from 9am to 2pm.
