Women’s Ministries (Women of the ELCA) – AUGUSTUS LUTHERAN CHURCH

Women of the ELCA (WELCA) is a national women’s organization that supports the church in a variety of ways and through a plethora of activities. Through various program areas, Women of the ELCA’s community of women provide services in their churches, communities, and even the world. We engage in ministry, take action through advocacy, promote healing and wholeness, and we support one another in our callings. At Augustus in Trappe, Pa, we meet monthly to plan our activities. Some of their events include quilting for Lutheran World Relief, support of global missionaries, Bible Studies, knitting and crocheting group, provide receptions for various church activities, supply coffee hours, social events, and “Ladies Night Out” events. They are also open to new programs. We would love for you to join us and know us better. All are welcome.
