Police are searching for a 1999 metallic gold Toyota Camry with a Pennsylvania license plate reading MSX-0797 in connection with the case.
PHILADELPHIA — Authorities in Philadelphia have filed charges against a man in connection with the disappearance of a young woman. They are also asking the public to be on the lookout for a car that may have clues as to the woman's location.
According to authorities, Keon King, 21, of Dover, Delaware, has been charged with kidnapping, recklessly endangering another person, and criminal use of a communication facility. The charges stem from the disappearance of 23-year-old Kada Scott, who remains missing. While he is in custody now, authorities said questions about Scott's disappearance and whereabouts remain unanswered.
King is the last person to be in contact with Scott before she went missing, prosecutors said Wednesday. King and Scott knew one another, but authorities said the length and nature of their relationship is unknown.

Scott, a recent Penn State graduate, was last seen at about 9:45 p.m. Oct. 4 on the 8300 block of Rodney Street, by the city's far northwest border. She was leaving her workplace, the Terrace at Chestnut Hill nursing home, at the time of her disappearance.
Authorities searched the Awbury Arboretum area without success, then the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force joined the search for Scott, as well as anyone she may have encountered.
According to authorities, King got rid of his vehicle, phone, and other belonging in an attempt to elude investigators.
According to NBC10, physical evidence related to Scott's disappearance was found Wednesday at the abandoned Ada H. Lewis Middle School on Ardleigh Street.
King has a prior history of similar conduct, authorities said. Earlier this year, he was charged with kidnapping and strangulation involving a woman that was known to him. That case was withdrawn due to the witness failing to appear in court, authorities said.
However, that case is being refiled.
Anyone who has information on Scott's location is urged to contact police at 215-686-8477.
