1 Hospitalized In West Philly Fire That Displaced 3 Residents
One person was hospitalized in the Sunday night blaze, which took over an hour for responders to control, officials said.
PHILADELPHIA, PA - One person was hospitalized in a Sunday night two-alarm blaze at a West Philadelphia row home that took over an hour for responders to control, officials said.
The fire, reported around 10 p.m., occurred on the 5600 block of Pemberton Street in the West Philadelphia neighborhood of Cobbs Creek, city fire officials confirmed.
At least three people and a pet were displaced as a result of the fire, fire officials and Red Cross Philadelphia said in a statement.

It was not immediately clear what the condition of the person hospitalized was as of Tuesday morning, or if the individual hospitalized was a resident of the Pemberton Street home.
The Sunday night fire was just one of 14 working fires the Philadelphia Fire Department responded to over the weekend; 331 fire incidents and 1,388 EMS calls were also reported during the same time period.
