A Wawa in Northeast Philadelphia sold a Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball ticket that won $1 million, according to lottery officials.
PHILADELPHIA — A $1 million-winning Pennsylvania Lottery ticket was sold at a Philadelphia business recently.
According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, a Northeast Philadelphia Wawa sold a Powerball ticket that won the $1 million prize.
The ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, 7-8-15-19-28, on Wednesday,

Officials said the Wawa, located at 9101 Frankford Ave., will earn a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
