$200K-Winning Lottery Ticket Sold At Philadelphia Store

PHILADELPHIA — A $200,000-winning lottery ticket was sold at a Philadelphia business recently, according to officials.

The Pennsylvania Lottery said T&R Grocery Mini Market sold a winning Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $200,000 for the Saturday drawing.

The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, 6-7-12-47-53, and the red Powerball 21 to win $200,000, less applicable withholding.

T&R Grocery Mini Market, located at 1526 South 4th St., will earn a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

Winning tickets purchased at a lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back. Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed. Players can go online here for more information about how to file a claim.

The Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $570 million, or $226.9 million cash, for the next drawing Monday.
