4 Shot On SEPTA Bus In North Philadelphia, Gunman At Large: Report
Police are looking for a suspect who opened fire on a crowded bus Saturday night, wounding four people including three teenagers.
NORTH PHILADELPHIA, PA — Three teenagers were among four people shot on a SEPTA bus in North Philadelphia Saturday, according to police.
The shooting took place at about 6:30 p.m. at the busy intersection of 33rd Street and Girard Avenue, an area with heavy pedestrian traffic near the Philadelphia Zoo.
The three teen victims, including two 16-year-old boys and a 14 year-old boy, were listed in stable condition, according to NBC Philadelphia. Additionally, a 39-year-old woman was grazed by a bullet and treated at the scene, NBC reported.

"Responding officers found four victims shortly after the gunfire was reported," a Philadelphia Police Department spokesperson told Patch via email. "One victim was treated on scene by Philadelphia Fire Department Medics. Three others were transported by Police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where all three are in stable condition."
Dozens of people were on the bus when the shooting broke out.

According to police, the suspect a man around the age of 40, remained at large Saturday evening.
The suspect was reportedly a passenger who abruptly opened fire toward the back of the bus. He is considered armed and dangerous.
"Violence in any form is unacceptable," Inspector D F Pace with the Philadelphia Police Department told CBS News, "and we're doing absolutely everything we can as a police department to ensure the public safety of those that are walking our streets and riding our public transportation.
