- A Philadelphia Congressman was joined by Mayor Jim Kenney in unveiling a $51 billion plan to reduce gun violence across America. Funding for the plan is included in two separate pieces of legislation. Congressman Dwight Evans has co-sponsored the VICTIM Act with Florida Congresswoman Val Demmings to support local police, fund neighborhood violence intervention strategies, and pay for blight reduction among other programs. - Police are looking for two men after a man was shot to death in his own home Wednesday night. According to police, the two men knocked on the door at the victim's home and fired at the victim as he opened his door. Surveillance cameras filmed the shooting and the shooters driving away in a gray SUV. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward. (NBC 10 Philadelphia)
