7-Year-Old Shot In Attack That Killed 2 Men, Injured Woman: Philadelphia Police
One of the men who was killed was the girl's father, according to police.
PHILADELPHIA, PA — Two men died and a 7-year-old girl and a 26-year-old woman were injured in a shooting Saturday night in North Philadelphia, according to police.
Officers responded shortly after 8:15 p.m. to a reported shooting in the 1900 block of West Hunting Park Avenue and arrived to find two men who had been shot repeatedly, police said.
One of the men, age 26, was in the road and unresponsive, with a head wound, according to police, who said he was taken to a hopsital and pronounced dead minutes later. A 29-year-old man was found unresponsive on a nearby porch, also with a head wound, and died about two hours later at a hospital, police said.

The woman, who was shot in the left arm, and the young girl, who had a graze wound to the scalp, were taken to a hospital by private vehicle, and the girl was then transported to a children’s hospital, according to police, who said both were in stable condition. The child was the daughter of one of the men who was killed, police said.
The incident is under investigation, according to police.
