  1. On Thursday morning, an 8-year-old boy brought a gun to Achievement Charter School in West Philadelphia. The gun was in the child's backpack where it was accidentally discharged on campus. The school was placed on a brief lockdown after the gun went off and no injuries were reported. (WPVI-TV)
  2. Three people were injured in a house fire in Southwest Philadelphia on Wednesday. The fire occurred around 5:00 pm at 1100 block of South 52nd Street. Two men and a woman were transported to a local hospital after escaping the fire. (FOX 29 Philadelphia)
  3. Nonprofit Luke's Wings is helping the family members of the State Trooper who was killed in an accident on I-95 last week. The nonprofit is paying for family members of Branden Sisca who live far away to attend his service. Luke's Wings is an organization that helps the families of wounded or fallen soldiers and officers see their loved ones. (CBS Philly)
