- Spots are still open! Philadelphia Parks & Recreation is hosting a free overnight camp for kids seven-12 at Camp Speers YMCA. Over a one-week session, campers can try out summer favorites like climbing, canoeing, or horseback riding and make friends that last a lifetime. The sessions will take place Aug. 14-19 and 21-26. - A 96-year-old woman died due to blunt force trauma to the head. According to police, the incident happened just after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Officers were called to the scene in a living room of a Roxborough home on the 4200 block of Houghton Street. A man is in custody and a weapon has been recovered, but as of Sunday evening, there is no information on what cause the incident. (CBS Philly)
- Some relief comes to Philly drivers, as gas prices have continued to fall for 32 days straight, according to GasBuddy. Nationwide, experts predict prices will fall from $4.54 to $4.45 per gallon.
