Amazon Prime customers in the Philadelphia area can order household essential items and groceries to be delivered in 30 minutes or less.

PHILADELPHIA — Good news for busy Philadelphia-area residents who are Amazon Prime members: 30-minute delivery is now available in and around the city.
Amazon recently announced deliveries in about 30 minutes or less are now available in the Philadelphia region.
Customers can shop from a wide selection of items, including milk, eggs, fresh produce, toothpaste, cosmetics, pet treats, diapers, paper products, electronics, seasonal items, over-the-counter medicines, chips, dips, and more for the quick delivery

Amazon Now is part of the Amazon shopping app and website for customers shopping in eligible areas. Customers in the Philadelphia area can check the Amazon app and homepage and look for the "30-Minute Delivery" option in the navigation bar to learn if they have the service in their area.
Eligible customers can browse the thousands of items available for delivery in minutes, and can track their orders and have the option to tip their drivers.

Amazon is using smaller facilities designed for efficient order fulfillment that are placed close to where Philadelphia-area customers live and work. The company said this prioritizes the safety of employees picking and packing orders, reduces the distance delivery partners need to travel, and enables faster delivery times.
Prime members get discounted delivery fees, starting at $3.99 per order. An order fee of $1.99 will apply to orders below $15.
