1. President Joe Biden will visit Philadelphia today to address house Democrats during an issues retreat. Biden visits as Democrats gather to plot midterm strategy. During his visit, there plan to be discussions on policy agendas and messages to voters. (The Philadelphia Tribune)
2. On Wednesday night, a fire erupted as police were investigating a shooting on the 600 block of East Clementine Street. As police were investigating reports of shots fired, a fire broke out and another man began shooting. The shooter was hospitalized after falling from a window. (WPVI-TV)
3. Wasim Shazad, the owner of V. Jewelers on Sansom Street in Philadelphia, has admitted to money laundering. Shazad pled guilty to charges of money laundering and failure to file records of financial transactions. He could face up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. (Philadelphia Patch)
