- The Philadelphia Board Of Education has announced the names of the three finalists for the school district’s next superintendent. John Davis, Krish Mohip, and Tony Watlington are all in the running for the position. The school board would like to hire the new superintendent by March 21st. (CBS Philly)
- The City of Philadelphia is set to receive permanent a Harriet Tubman sculpture outside of City Hall. The city commissioned a sculpture to honor Tubman's legacy after the positive response to a temporary fixture. The sculpture will be created by artist Wesley Wofford, who designed the temporary one. - An ex-Philadelphia prison guard allegedly sold guns on social media. Amanda Barr is facing gun trafficking charges after purchasing straw guns at local stores and then selling those guns on social media. Barr resigned from her guard position in the wake of an investigation. (Philadelphia Patch)
