Civilian, Cop Hurt In Philadelphia Crash: Reports
A police cruiser responding to a call crashed into a civilian vehicle Thursday night, injuring one officer and the civilian driver.
PHILADELPHIA — A civilian and a Philadelphia Police officer were hurt in a vehicle crash Thursday night, according to reports.
The crash happened at about 11:30 p.m. at Roosevelt Boulevard and Pratt Street, when two officers responding to a call crashed into a civilian vehicle heading east on Pratt Street as it tried to cross the boulevard, NBC10 reports.
One officer's leg was injured, and the civilian driver suffered hip injuries. The former was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital and the latter to Temple Hospital for treatment, according to Fox 29.
