Civilians, Cops Hurt In Early Morning Crash: Reports

Two women and two police officers were injured in a crash Friday morning in the city's Hunting Park neighborhood, according to reports.

PHILADELPHIA — Two civilians and two Philadelphia Police officers were hurt in a crash early Friday morning, according to reports.

The crash occurred at about 2 a.m. at North Reese Street and West Hunting Park Avenue, Fox 29 reports.

Officers were searching for a suspect in a domestic assault case when a civilian vehicle crashed into their police SUV, according to Action News.

The civilians, two 30-year-old women, suffered injuries to their faces and heads, while the officer who was driving also suffered injuries to his face, NBC10 reports. The other officer in the cruiser reported pain.
