- A Philadelphia City Councilmember is proposing withholding funds from SEPTA until safety measures are taken. Millions could be at stake for SEPTA officials as some are alleging there is a "runaway train of violence" in the transit system. Councilmember David Oh has not filed the motion but believes it might help rein in the dangerous conditions. (CBS Philly)
- A man and a dog are in stable condition after being shot on Tuesday night. A stray bullet hit the man and dog in the 2600 block of North Warnock Street. The shooting comes as part of a wave of gun violence across the city this spring. Police are still investigating the incident. (CBS Philly)
