Dad, Son Hurt By Stray Bullets From Shootout In Philadelphia: Reports

The dad, 40, was shot in his arm and stomach, while his son, 14, was shot in the stomach when two groups exchanged gunfire with each other.

PHILADELPHIA — Two innocent bystanders, a father and a son, were hurt by stray bullets from a shootout in Philadelphia this weekend.

The shooting happened at about 6:27 p.m. Sunday on the 4700 block of Vista Street, according to NBC10.

The father, 40, and his son, 14, were talking outside when they were hit by gunfire, the dad in his stomach and arm, and the boy in his stomach, Fox 29 reports. They are in stable condition.

According to Action News, two groups in a nearby alley got into an argument that led to shots being fired between them.
