Data At Rivers Casino Breached, Impacted Customers Being Notified

Rivers Casino in Philadelphia said an outside actor accessed certain files stored on the company's computer servers, officials said.

PHILADELPHIA — Visitors to Philadelphia's Rivers Casino may be getting notifications from the company regarding a data breach that occurred in the company recently.

According to Rivers Casino representative Jack Horner, an unauthorized actor accessed and/or took certain files stored on its computer servers.

When the casino learned of the breach, immediately secured the involved systems and launched an investigation.

Rivers Casino Philadelphia said it is mailing letters to individuals whose information may have been involved in the incident.
