- After going on hiatus during the pandemic, Philly mainstay event Dining Out For Life is back in person this spring. The annual dining-out night supports services for people living with HIV, with participating restaurants donating a percentage of their sales to nonprofit Action Wellness. - On Friday night, a Philadelphia Police Department building was struck by gunfire during a shootout. According to the department, one bullet entered the cafeteria of its internal affairs bureau; no one was hurt in the incident. The building is located in a residential neighborhood, in front of homes and up the street from a preschool. (NBC Philadelphia)
- Residents in Philadelphia's Queen Village section are still struggling with a water main break from July. Some report losing everything due to flooding, while local store employees say the break has affected already-diminished business. According to the City of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Water Department's timeline for completion is April 2022 and is "within expected standards." (WPVI-TV)
