He was left on the tracks for two days, according to Philly Rescue Angels.

The group said it's unclear if Lucky was unable to use his legs when he was left on the tracks or if he was hit by a train.

According to the group, a collar and leash were found next to him on the tracks, with the collar unclipped.

"We will be covering Lucky financially for the rest of his life in his adoptive home, as his expenses are extremely high compared to the average dog," the group said "He needs monthly medical care, monthly prescriptions filled, along with many items in the home. Since so many people have asked to send Lucky something in the past few months, we created a wishlist, which will help his adopter out immensely!"
