  1. A 25-year-old man was shot multiple times in Kensington early Monday morning. The man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Officials have not caught the subject and believe the shooting was drug-related. (Patch)
  2. After Philadelphia scrapped its return to an indoor mask mandate, the Philadelphia School District announced masks will be optional for students and staff. The district required masks last week for one week after staff and students returned from spring break. Officials lifted the mask mandate for the city after hospitalizations decreased. (CBS Philly)
  3. A gun violence prevention group, Mothers In Charge, was awarded $100,000 in community project funding from the federal government. The money will be used to increase the organization's prevention, intervention, and education initiative. Mothers In Charge's mission is to reduce gun violence and the rapid increase of illegal guns in Philadelphia. (CBS Philly)
