- On Monday morning, an intoxicated driver allegedly jumped a curb and killed a child walking with their mother. Timothy Robinson was arrested after driving under the influence at the 3000 block of West Girard Avenue in Brewerytown. He has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, homicide by vehicle, homicide by vehicle while DUI, and other offenses. (WPVI-TV)
- Philadelphia City Councilmember Kendra Brooks introduced a new tax on the city's wealthy residents. The municipal tax would impact those with wealth in stocks and bonds. If approved, the tax would generate $150 t0 $400 million in revenue for Philadelphia each year. (CBS Philly)
- Two teenagers were arrested after a carjacking on Stiles Street in West Philadelphia on Tuesday. A 17-year-old man and woman allegedly carjacked the driver of a Kia sedan. Police were able to track down the vehicle and arrest the suspects. (WPVI-TV)

- The main story for the next couple of days will be the severe weather threat for later today, according to the US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly. Strong to severe storms are likely to start developing Thursday afternoon over central PA and then move eastward into eastern PA, Delmarva, and New Jersey through the evening. Damaging winds are the biggest threat but tornadoes are also possible. (Facebook)
