Find Your Fur Baby At 2 Pennsylvania SPCA Events This Weekend
Due to a low number of dog adoptions, the Pennsylvania SPCA in Philly is hosting two weekend events to boost pups finding forever homes.
PHILADELPHIA — Dog adoptions at the Pennsylvania SPCA in Philadelphia have been lagging.
And to increase adoptions of its pups, the rescue group is hosting two weekend events.
On Friday, a Happy Hour Adoption Event for dogs only will be held at the Philadelphia Brewing Company.

The event will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The North Shore Animal League America mobile unit will be on site as part of its Tour For Life 2023.
Tour For Life is the world's largest cooperative pet adoption event.

Then from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, the SPCA is hosting "Meet Your Match."
The event will work to pair potential adopters with dogs that meet the personalities being sought before seeing adoptable dogs in the PSPCA's kennels.
Attendees will get three adoption recommendations from staff and then have a meet and greet with the three recommended dogs.
Adopters who proceed with adopting a dog they matched with will have adoption fees waived.
This event will take place at the Pennsylvania SPCA headquarters, 350 East Erie Ave. in Philadelphia.
