The Linc Among 'Most Dangerous' Stadiums, New Survey Says

A survey from Sportsbook Review showed Lincoln Financial Field was No. 1 on the list of stadiums opposing fans would not want to visit.

PHILADELPHIA — Results from a new survey conducted by a betting website shows Lincoln Financial Field is among the "most dangerous" stadiums in the NFL.

Sportsbook Review looked at crime statistics local to each NFL stadium and polled more than 3,000 football fans about their experiences to determine which stadiums are the "most dangerous."

Overall, the results showed 39.2 percent of fans surveyed were victims of, or witnessed, harassment, vandalism, theft, or violence.

But what about the Linc?

According to the survey's results, 63.2 percent of fans surveyed who have been to a game at Lincoln Financial Field have witnessed a crime, with the most common infraction being physical violence. This figure is the highest of all stadiums, per the results.

AT&T Stadium was No. 2, with 54.6 percent of fans who have been there reporting they have witnessed a crime, namely public intoxication.

The Linc came in at No. 3 when it comes to stadiums where fans are victims of crime, with 10.8 percent of fans surveyed reporting they were the victim of a crime. The most common crime reported was, again, physical violence.

And lastly, Lincoln Financial Field was No. 1 on the list of stadiums opposing fans would not want to visit. According to the survey, 14.9 percent of surveyed fans said that Lincoln Financial Field was the stadium at which they’d feel the least safe, the only one with a double-digit percentage.

Cleveland Browns Stadium was No. 2 on that list, with 8.7 percent of fans reporting they would feel unsafe there.
