- An ax-wielding man tried to break into a 7-Eleven's 'games of skill' machines in Philadelphia. On the 2300 block of West Passyunk Avenue around 4 a.m., a surveillance video shows a man repeatedly smashing a machine with an ax before moving on to the next one. These types of crimes are on the rise in Philly due to the amount of money inside the machines. No one was injured in the incident. (WPVI-TV)
- Two suspects were caught on camera firing shots into parked cars on Louden Street while making a video. Police say one suspect fired a firearm while the other appeared to take videos on a cellphone before fleeing the scene. Three cars were struck by gunfire, but no injuries were reported in connection to the shooting. (FOX 29 Philadelphia)
- An 18-year-old who was shot while driving around in a stolen car has been taken into custody after being treated at Temple Hospital. On Tuesday around midnight in North Philadelphia, the teen was struck at least twice by gunfire. Police also arrested a 21-year-old passenger for carrying a semiautomatic handgun and a backpack with a large amount of drugs. (NBC 10 Philadelphia)

The hoagie-inspired flavor beat 215 Special Sauce, a combination of salt, pepper, ketchup, and hot sauce, and Whiz Whit, a cheesy onion flavor reminiscent of a cheesesteak. (PhillyVoice.com)
- The City of Philadelphia Government is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest & conviction of anyone who fires a gun causing injury to others within 500 ft. of schools, recreation centers, and libraries. This decision comes in light of recent shootings around recreation centers specifically. (City of Philadelphia Government via Facebook)
- On Sep. 10, Jackie, Tito, and Marlon Jackson will be performing at Parx Casino. The show will be the only time the Jacksons perform live this fall in the Northeastern United States and proceeds will go to the Universal Family of Schools. (The Philadelphia Tribune)
