Man Fatally Shot After Neighbor Dispute In Philadelphia

A 60-year-old man died after being shot following a dispute with his downstairs neighbor early Friday morning.

PHILADELPHIA — A man is dead after a dispute with a neighbor led to a shooting in Philadelphia, according to reports and police.

The incident happened at about 4 a.m. on the 2800 block of Hope Street in Kensington, Action News reports.

The victim, 60 years old, was involved in a dispute with a neighbor, who lived on the first floor of the same property where the victim lived on the second floor, that ended with the man being shot in the chest, police said.

According to NBC10, police learned the victim was in a doorway or a staircase leading to the second floor when he was shot.

When police showed up to the area, they learned the victim was taken to a hospital, where he died at 4:20 a.m.

A suspect in the shooting is cooperating with police, according to Fox 29.
