Man Fatally Shot In South Philly Monday Evening

PHILADELPHIA — A man was fatally shot early Monday evening in Philadelphia, according to police.

The shooting happened at about 5:15 p.m. on the 700 block of Oregon Avenue.

Police were called to that area for a shooting and found a man, who has not been identified, suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to Jefferson Center City Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition until his death at 5:46 p.m., police said.

No arrests have been made, and no motive has been determined.
