Man Shot In Northeast Philadelphia Wednesday Night

A 26-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot Wednesday night in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia, police said.

PHILADELPHIA — A man is recovering after being shot in Northeast Philadelphia Wednesday night, according to police.

The shooting happened at about 7:36 p.m. on the 6100 block of Mulberry Street in Wissinoming.

A 26-year-old man was shot once in the left chest and once in the lower left back.

He was taken to Jefferson Frankford Hospital in a private vehicle, where he was placed in stable condition.

Police have not made any arrests or recovered any weapons.
