Man Stabbed Multiple Times Tuesday, 1 In Custody: Philly Police

A person of interest was taken into custody and a weapon was found after a man was stabbed 10 times on the 4600 block of Oakland Street.

PHILADELPHIA — A man is in stable condition after being stabbed multiple times Tuesday night in Philadelphia.

Police said the man was stabbed at about 9:59 p.m. on the 4600 block of Oakland Street.

The victim, 39, was stabbed 10 times throughout his body by a known suspect, according to police.

A person of interest was taken into custody and a weapon was found, police said.

The victim was taken to Jefferson-Frankford Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition.
