Murder Charge Filed In Deadly Weekend Double Shooting
Hudhayfah Trice, 28, is accused of fatally shooting 25-year-old Michael Davila Rivera and injuring another Saturday morning in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia have charged a 28-year-old man with murder and related crimes in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred over the weekend.
Hudhayfah Trice, 28, of the unit block of North Ashmead Street, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, and related crimes in the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Michael Davila Rivera.
The shooting happened at about 4:50 a.m. on the 400 block of West Grange Avenue.

According to police, officers were called to the area for a report of a person with a gun and found Rivera and another victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
Rivera had a single gunshot wound to his head and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:02 a.m.

The other victim, 28, was shot multiple times in his torso. He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Authorities took Trice into custody Monday after launching an investigation into the shooting.
A loaded handgun was recovered from Trice at the time of his arrest, police said.
