  1. Officials announced that Philadelphia's COVID-19 vaccine requirement for city workers will begin on May 31. Starting on that date, workers have to receive at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine or apply for an exemption. The original requirement was supposed to start on Jan. 14, however, unions stepped in to work on an agreement. (The Daily Pennsylvanian)
  2. An Uber driver was shot while giving a ride in the Cobbs Creek area. The driver picked up a man and a woman; after the woman was dropped off, a confrontation began. It is unknown what transpired, but after being shot, the driver was taken to a local hospital where he is in critical but stable condition. (WPVI-TV)
  3. When the Camden County Board of Commissioners revealed its $100 million parks plan, it also announced a LINK trail from Philly to Jersey Shore. The 34-mile trail is slated to run from Benjamin Franklin Bridge to Cape May Point. As of now, the board is aiming to open the trail in 2025. (PhillyVoice.com)
