- One man is dead after a shooting yesterday morning. According to police, the shooting took place at the Speedway gas station on the corner of North Broad Street and West Glenwood Avenue just after 11:00 a.m. The 42-year-old man was shot multiple times in the head and died, police say. (NBC 10 Philadelphia)
- Three teens were injured in a triple shooting in North Philadelphia on Monday. According to police, a 15-year-old was shot in the hip and is in critical condition, while the other two teens are in stable condition. The shooting occurred at 19th and Diamond Streets. - Benjamin Franklin Parkway will be hosting the Love From Philly Festival on Saturday, Jun. 11. The event features live performances, film screenings, and food trucks. The festival first began as a virtual event in May 2020 for musicians impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
