- Something is rotten in the state of Philadelphia. What was first reported as an "unknown white powder" and caused an evacuation of a federal courthouse Tuesday morning turned out to be nothing more than some old food. Philadelphia PD identified the "substance" as old food belonging to a judge in the courthouse. Maybe this is your sign to clean out your refrigerator before it becomes a biohazard. - Philadelphia is kicking off its free meal program for kids in need this summer. According to city officials, there will be over 400 meal sites projected to serve at least 873,000 meals. The city is still in need of dry goods and monetary donations to be sure they can provide meals throughout the summer. The program will run from Jun. 27 to Aug. 12. (WPVI-TV)
- One man is dead after being shot in the head outside his home Tuesday morning. According to neighbors, the 76-year-old man was well-known and always exercised early in the day. The shooting occurred in the Juniata section of the city. Police say that the shooting happened around 5:00 a.m. As of Tuesday evening, police are still investigating the murder. (WPVI-TV)
