Philadelphia International Airport Won't Play Kristi Noem's Govt Shutdown Video
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's video blaming Democrats for the federal government shutdown won't be seen at PHL any time soon.

PHILADELPHIA — As the federal government shutdown lingers and some airline travelers begin to face delays, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem wants those beleaguered travelers to cast blame on Democrats.
Noem and the Department of Homeland Security have released a video addressing airline passengers and the shutdown, blaming Democrats for potentially long TSA lines as they check in for flights.
In the video, Noem says the TSA's "top priority" is to help make travel pleasant and efficient while keeping passengers safe.

"However, Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government, and because of this, many of our operations are impacted, and most of our TSA employees are working without pay," she continues.
However, those flying in and out of the Philadelphia International Airport won't see her video message implicating congressional Democrats.

The Philadelphia International Airport is one of several that are refusing to play Noem's propaganda video that seeks to pin the shutdown on Democrats due to its political nature.
Patch has reached out to the Philadelphia International Airport for information on the video and will update the story when additional details are made available.
Other airports electing not to air the video are in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas, Charlotte, Phoenix, Seattle, Billings, and Salt Lake City.
