Philly Preparing For Post Eagles NFC Championship Game Revelry
There is no word on if the poles will be greased in anticipation of celebrations in the event the Eagles earn a spot in Super Bowl LIX.
PHILADELPHIA — The City of Philadelphia is preparing for Eagles fans to take to the streets after the NFC Championship Game Sunday.
The Eagles will take on the Washington Commanders at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.

"As we get ready for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game we want to remind everyone to stay safe," Mayor Cherelle L. Parker said. "Let’s thank all the city workers who are working around the clock to make sure the City is safe, clean, and ready for the big crowds at the Linc on Sunday! Go Birds!"
Parking Restrictions & Car Relocation

Residents and businesses will see "Temporary No Parking Signs" along the South Broad Street corridor and around City Hall.
The "No Parking Zone" will go into effect at noon Saturday. Vehicles parked in these locations during posted hours may be relocated.
There will also be temporary parking restrictions around Cottman and Frankford avenues in Northeast Philadelphia and around South Broad Street in South Philadelphia.

Anyone who believes their car has been relocated should call the police district of the area where the car was parked.
Possible Road Closures
After Sunday’s game, temporary traffic closures may be put into place to maintain public safety at the Sports Complex District, and in the vicinity of City Hall and surrounding Center City streets between 13th and 15th Streets and Arch and Lombard Streets.
Travel delays can be expected, and drivers are advised to avoid the area by using alternate routes and allow for extra driving time when traveling in the area.
Please follow all direction of public safety officials, posted signs, detours, and traffic control devices.
Public Transportation
SEPTA is adding extra service on the Broad Street Line to NRG Stadium Sunday. Express trains will leave the Fern Rock Transit Center every 10 minutes from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Public Safety Information
Throughout the day, the city will provide law-enforcement support, traffic control, and emergency medical services at the Sports Complex District and other key locations for public safety.
In addition, the public should expect congestion in these areas. Anyone attending the game should make a plan regarding driving, public transit, parking, and supervision of children. It is recommended that attendees wear comfortable, weather-appropriate attire.
Leave no bags or items unattended. In an emergency or to report a suspicious person, activity or item (a backpack, a package, a container), notify a police officer immediately or call 911. Do not try to open, move, cover or touch a suspicious item.
Drone use is prohibited above crowds for the safety of the public. Anyone who sees a drone should inform the nearest public safety official and provide the location of the drone and operator.
