Pizza Taken In Gunpoint Robbery Of Delivery Person: Philadelphia Police

Two people robbed a delivery person of a pizza at gunpoint over the weekend, according to Philadelphia Police.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police are looking for a gun-toting pair who robbed a food delivery person of a pizza over the weekend.

According to police, the robbery occurred at about 1:25 a.m. Sunday on the 1200 block of Wharton Street.

The victim was looking for the delivery address when a woman came up to them and said the pizza was hers, police said.

As she took the pizza, another person pointed a gun at the victim and said, "give up the food," according to police.

The two ran off, heading east on Wharton Street with the pizza, police said.
