- The Philadelphia Parking Authority is partnering with the Bicycle Coalition Of Greater Philadelphia to announce a new major bike lane safety initiative. The PPA will be adding bike patrol officers who will monitor drivers who park illegally in bike lanes. This announcement comes after the number of bicyclists killed in Philly is growing, with eight bicyclists killed in 2021. (CBS Philly)
- Authorities announced that the teenager who was struck by a dirt bike rider in a hit and run on Sunday night has died. The teenager was hit near Front Street in North Philadelphia and died from his injuries on Tuesday morning. Police are still looking for the suspect. (WPVI-TV)
- Tuesday's PA Election night concluded with Dwight Evans winning the Democratic primary in Philadelphia’s 3rd District Representative race. Evans defeated challengers Alexandra Hunt and Michael Cogbill in his bid for reelection. No Republican candidate ran in the primary so Evans will be unchallenged in the general lesson. (CBS Philly)
