Here are the top four stories today in Philadelphia:
- Philly has implemented a red-painted bus-only lane along Chestnut Street in Center City to reduce traffic congestion. The goal of the bus-only lanes is to improve transit reliability and enhance SEPTA efficiency in the city. (PhillyVoice.com)
- Eleven separate shootings took place across Philadelphia Friday night into Saturday. The shootings left two dead and 10 others injured. No arrests have been made at this time. (CBS Philly)
- The Urban League Of Philadelphia has received a $350,000 federal grant from U.S. Rep. Brendan F. Doyle for its housing counseling program. The program is certified by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and recognized by the city and state. (Patch)
- The Philadelphia Flower Show is returning to the Pennsylvania Convention Center. After two outdoor shows at FDR Park due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the show will be back at the convention center from Mar. 4-12, 2023. (Philadelphia Sunday Sun)
