Red Light Cameras Active On Kelly Drive, Eakins Oval

Drivers have a 60-day warning period before fines begin being issued for red light violations on Kelly Drive and the Eakins Oval.

PHILADELPHIA — Attention, traffic light scoff laws: blowing through a red light on one of Philadelphia's busiest and most winding roads will soon land you a ticket.

The Philadelphia Parking Authority is alerting drivers to its new red light cameras on Kelly Drive and at Eakins Oval.

While the cameras are live now, they won't begin issuing tickets for 60 days.

Come Jan. 8, 2026, drivers who pass through red lights on those roads will be issued $100 fines.

This warning period comes just days before another warning period for drivers comes to an end.
